Circa 1875-80 part of same former school complex as the Bridge Centre above,
by Martin and Chamberlain. Probably the former primary school building.
T-plan with one storey range of different height. Steep gabled tiled roofs.
Stone dressed coupled windows retaining original iron frame glazing. The east
wing terminates in an effective bowed feature with tall narrow ashlar dressed
window of 2 lights in 2 tiers, shafted and with cinquefoil in the 2 centred
arch, contained in a crocketed finialed gable.
