Includes Nos 9 to 15 (odd) Needless Alley. Circa 1900 and so similar to No 45
Cannon Street that it, too, must be by Essex, Goodman and Nicol. Pink terracotta;
slate roof. Four storeys; 4 bays gently curving with the street. Ground floor
with modern shop front. First floor with canted bay windows rising through 2
storeys and terminating in balconies. The lights have ause-de-panier arches and
pretty, detached scrolly members end are linked vertically by baluster-like
shafts. Third floor with paired arched lights within ogee-cum-semi-circular pedimented
attics against the roof.
