Part of the Carmelite Monestery. Probably C17 in origin, though now largely C19 in
appearance. Roughcast; tiled roofs. Two storeys. An asymmetrical group of complex
plan and secluded from the road behind a wall approximately 7ft high. Many gables
at different angles and different angles and different heights. The older part
timber-framed; the newer with casement windows in altered stone surrounds and having
in the core a hall rising through 2 storeys with a timber roof on lavishly curved
corbels.
