1897, for C J Company and in an Arts and Crafts Gothic style. Brick and terra-
cotta; slate roof. Three storeys plus attic; 3 bays. Ground floor with modern
shop front. First floor with a central rectangular window and 2 canted bay
windows with ogee heads to the centre lights and pretty, detached scrolly members.
Second floor with windows similar to those of the first floor but all surmounted
by blank arcading. In the attic, a central polygonal cupola with two 3-light
flat-headed casement dormer windows. Lush bands of foliage at first and second
floor levels.
