C1840-50 modest pair of semi-detached villas, 2 storeys stucco faced, but
with monumental Italianate details articulating the whole as a 3 bay centre
block with recessed entrance wings. High plinth and giant scale coupled quoin
pilasters with flattened console brackets paired to heads below plain frieze;
single pilasters to wings returned on corners. Hipped slate roofs with flat
eaves; central cut down stack and flanking stucco and painted brick chimney
stacks. Plain revealed glazing bar sash windows, 3 to centre block and one
each to wings with arched window over doorway of No 13. Round headed simple
architrave framed doorways; 3 panel doors with fanlights over.
