C1820 substantial 2 storey red brick villa. Symmetrical 3 bay front. Painted
stone shallow plinth. Moulded modillion eaves cornice returned to sides.
Gable end slate roof. Very large rectangular red brick chimney stacks with
stucco copings and ornamental pots, set on gable ends. Identical ground and
first floor windows, painted stone block sills and flat gauged arches, glazing
bars intact to sashes; later circular window left or doorway. Round arched
entrance recessed for one order with gauged brick outer and an inner moulded
arch; fanlight with patterned glazing bars; panelled door, reveals and soffit.
South gable end has one glazing bar sash to each floor; north gable end has
circular window with radiating glazing bars. Rear garden elevation has first
floor windows as on front and same modillion eaves cornice; fourth window
to lower 2 storey elevation of service wing.
