C1820 detached 2 storey stucco villa. Almost symmetrical 3 bay front with
projecting coach house to right. Plinth; modillion cornice to overhanging
eaves of hipped slate roof; altered stucco chimney stacks. Plain revealed
glazing bar sashes except for window to right of doorway which is set in segmental
arched panel. Arched recessed entrance containing fluted Tuscan columns supporting
shallow modillion cornice over doorhead and fanlight with radial glazing pattern;
6 panel door. Garden front broader with glazing bar sashes but in centre a
projecting C1840 2 storey wing terminating in canted bay. The modillion cornice
is carried out from the main block. Lean-to garden porch with chamfered timber
details of C1860.
