C1830, a pair of semi-detached 3 storey red brick town houses with slight
Grecian stucco details. Three bay fronts. Shallow plinth. Moulded stucco
eaves cornice to low pitch gable end slate roof; flanking and centred band
corniced brick chimneys. Windows of reducing proportion to each floor, revealed
glazing bar sashes with flat gauged arches, block stucco sills. Central doorways
with rosette studded stucco architrave surrounds, plain friezes and shallow
cornices surmounted by scrolled anthemion pattern cresting. Panelled doors
with rectangular fanlights, that of No 46 retaining marginal glazing.
