C1840-50 two storey 3 bay stucco villa with recessed service coach house wing
to left. Italianate details. Plinth; quoin pilasters; applied parapet to
first floor with coping as sill course; frieze with guilloche band. Boxed
flat eaves to hipped slate roof with flanking corniced chimneys.
Fenestration: revealed tall glazing bar sashes in architrave surrounds with
elongated consoles supporting cornices; central first floor window with
segmental pediment; the outer first floor windows have console bracketted
stucco balconettes with richly modelled cast iron rails. Similar balcony on
roof of Ionic column porch, the doorway in architrave surround with
rectangular fanlight. South side has quoin pilasters and other details
returned. A screen wall in front of recessed wing links with coach house,
segmental arched coach doors.
