Circa 1909.
An effective pair of semi-detached Arts and Crafts houses treated as a symmetrical
composition. Two storeys light red brick with some blue headers. Half H plan
with 2 bay centre and 1 1/2 storey lean-to porches against, but set back from,
front of gabled flanking wings. Plain bargeboards to gables. Tiled gable
end roofs with overhanging eaves swept as if thatch over first floor windows
of centre. All brick chimney stacks on side of wings and joint stack to central
ridge. Off centre ground floor 4 light leaded casements to wing in shallow
flush frames; diamond brick vents to right and left respectively. Canted oriels
on first floor with pargetted aprons on large corbel-brackets, leaded lights.
The same emphasis is placed on first floor of centre block with 3 light casements
