C1850-55 pair of semi-detached red brick villas with Italianate stucco
dressings. Two storeys each with symmetrical 3 bay front, narrow vertical
recess marking party wall. Plinth; first floor sill course; bed string
to frieze containing consoles supporting the small modillions of the flat
boxed eaves. Gable end slate roof, brick chimney stacks with ornamental
pots. Windows in eared architrave surrounds with cornices, shallow segmental
pediments over outer first floor windows, below the sills of ground floor
windows are aprons reaching down to plinth with profiled scrolls flanking
roundels.
Pilastered doorways with coupled consoles to cornices and wreathed blocking
courses; arched architrave surrounds to recessed entrances with panelled
reveals and double doors; acanthus leaf ornament to spandrels.
