House, now shops and dental surgery. Late C18 with late C19 alterations. Red brick
stuccoed to front and C20 tile roof with brick ridge and lateral stacks. 3 storeys.
3-window range of central sash window of 6 panes over single pane, with bracketed pediment
over and canted late C19 bay either side with similar glazing. Late C19 shopfront
beneath with bay either side supporting an entablature hood with central curved pediment.
Central recessed arched doorway with door and overlight. 2nd floor sill band and five
6-pane unhorned sash windows, the centre with ogee-headed moulded hood, decorative
finial and gothick glazing to upper lights. Central open pediment supported on console
brackets has modillion cornice which extends to either side. Swagged urns at each
end of facade and at apex of pediment. Wing to rear has casements to ground floor
and a tripartite sash with glazing bars to each floor above, that to 1st floor a Venetian
window with gothick glazing to upper lights. Lean-to extension to this wing has furnace-
slag facing and smaller Venetian window. Interior: noted as having curving stick-
baluster, staircase with mahogany handrail.
