House, now restaurant. Mid-C18. Brick in Flemish bond with hipped tile
roof. A symmetrical composition of three storeys and five bays. Windows
sashed with glazing bars, with keystones and gauged brick heads. Door, of
six flush panels, in timber surround with transom light and cornice hood
on brackets. Chimneys to left and right behind ridge. Interior: some
chamfered main ceiling beams. The left-hand front room has an inglenook
with chamfered and stopped bressummer. In the right-hand room the fireplace
is flanked by round-headed pine cupboards with raised and fielded panels.
