1/3 Pickford Farmhouse
GV II
House. C17. Timber-framing on stone plinth, with brick infill and tile
roof. Lobby-entry plan. Framed with three rows of square panels and straight
braces to the wall-plate. Two storeys, three bays. Windows are timber case-
ments with glazing bars. Door between first and second bays. Chimneys in
line with door and on right-hand gable. Left-hand return wall has exposed
framing, with straight braces rising from the centre of the wall-plate to
meet the principal posts below their jowls. The truss has struts between
tie-beam and collar.
