2/6 Hollyfast Farmhouse

House. Probably late C17 with C18 and C19 additions. Sandstone and brick
with tile roof. Two storeys. Left-hand part of facade of stone on ground
floor and brick above. Remainder entirely of stone. Three windows on ground
floor and four on first floor, irregularly spaced and having casements with
glazing bars. The two right-hand windows on the ground floor have segmental
heads. Door to right of second ground floor window. Chimney on left-hand
gable and to left of door. At the right is a one-bay brick addition which
has casement windows with glazing bars, a door to the left with segmental
head, and a second door to the right into a lean-to. It has a chimney on
the right-hand gable. Interior: said to have chamfered axial beams, and an
inglenook in the room to the left of the door.
