C19 chain shop. Single-storey building in brick. Tiled roof. Main, elevation:
4 flat-arched windows with wooden shutters. An interesting feature is 6 tall
chimneys, with headers projecting at angles; brick cornice; 2 barred 2-light
windows in gabled ends. Interior: original chain makers hearths are intact
on each side of the main workshop; exposed roof beams with heavy tie beam.
