Early C16, altered. Stone base, red brick front, timber framed back and east side.
Tiled roof with tall chimneystacks. 2 storeys, 1st floor band, projecting gable
on left. 1:3 flush casement windows, wood mullions and transoms, ground floor cambered
arches. Left side chimney breast has flush stone quoins, diagonally set shafts.
Modern gabled porch, nail studded door.
Interior: room lined with Elizabethan panelling with enriched frieze, early C18
chimneypiece. Reputed ancestral home of Shakespeare family. VCH, IV, p 87.

Oldwich House Farmhouse and Barn form a group.
