Farmhouse)

Barn range. Late C17/early C18, extended later C18. Weatherboarded timber-frame,
some replaced by brick, with brick extensions. C20 tile roof. Barn has stone
plinth and is of 3 bays of square-panel framing. Stable doors and 2 loft doors
above. Double doorway to rear where framing replaced in brick on rear right.
Interior: brick threshing floor, jowled posts and queen-strut double-trenched-
purlin roof with clasped principals and ridge piece. Single-bay extensions
on either end have stable doors and windows, that on right with timber-framed
gable, that on left all of brick with dentilled eaves. Included for group value
only.
