Late C18 pair of small houses. Red brick, old tiled roof. 2 storeys, stone plinth.
2 casement windows, brick eaves. No 56 has wooden moulded door surround under
pedimented hood. Included for group value.

The Lodge and Nos 42 to 64 (even) form a group.
