GV I

1771-3 for William Lord Craven of Combe Abbey. Nave with sanctuary apse, recessed west porch. Attributed to Robert Adam, Ashlar, cement slurry. North transept leading to vestry with semicircular ends. Coved ceiling with garlands and medallions in relief. Similar wall decoration. East end niches flanking alabaster columns, Tower of the Winds capitals. Greek Ionic alabaster north screen. Madonna and Child east window. West gallery. VCH VI pp 36, 37.

The Church and Vicarage form a group.
