C18 brickwork encasing early timber framed hall, altered C16 or C17 by insertion
of 1st floor. Tiled roof of 2 parallel ridges, taller C18 ridge in front, lower
medieval roof ridge behind. 2 storeys, 1st floor band. 3 triple light wood mullioned
casement windows, 2 ground floor canted bay windows. Brick eaves cornice. Interior:
wattle and daub visible on 1st floor.

Nos 1 to 5 (consec) Akon House, and Beechwood Hotel form a group.
