House. Late C18. Brick in Flemish bond. A symmetrical composition of
two storeys and five bays with timber modillion cornice. Windows are
sashed with glazing bars and have gauged brick arches with fluted stone
keystones. Bands above outer pairs of ground floor windows. Doorcase
has engaged Tuscan columns and an open pediment. Fluted border to door-
way continues in an arch around a shell motif partly within the pediment.
Coped gables with chimneys. At the rear are three parallel gabled wings,
the left-hand-one lower and probably later. The middle one has a tall
stair window with round head and glazing bars.
