Cross base approximately
3 metres south of
Church of St Michael

Cross base. Assumed to be medieval, moved to present position from site
of church hall 1980s. Sandstone. Octagonal on plan, with upper part set
on base of two steps. Upper part has a torus moulding, is partly repaired
with mortar and rubble, and has "1829" roughly carved on its southern side.
