Public house. Probably mid-C18, altered early C19. Rendered brick with
tile roof. Two storeys, three bays, with string course above ground floor.
Windows are 3-light timber casements with transom, except for those on the
ground floor of the second and third bays. These have timber canted bays
containing sashes with glazing bars. Doors to right of first bay and
between second and third bays. The latter has a doorcase with a cornice on
brackets. Chimneys on gables and between first and second bays. Interior:
both rooms lit by the bay windows have axial beams. The left-hand one 's
boxed, the right-hand one exposed with exposed common joists.
