House. Now club house C1800. Brick in Flemish bond with hipped slate roof covered by felt
A symmetrical composition of three storeys and three bays, the middle bay
recessed, with ground and first floor sill bands, cornice and blocking
course. Windows sashed with glazing bars, with gauged brick heads. Door-
way has round head, under mid-C20 porch. Two chimneys on ridge. Formerly
known as Field House. (VCH, Staffs, Vol VII, p 163).
