Aqueduct carrying Anglesey branch of Wyrley & Essington Canal (widened and
made navigable 1850) over the South Staffordshire Railway (opened 1849).
Dated 1856. Cast iron with brick abutments. Waterway carried in iron trough
carried on central brick pier. An iron arch supports the towpath and is
inscribed: "Lloyds Foster and Co., Engineers, Wednesbury 1856". Solid cast
iron parapets have interlaced balustrade pattern in relief.
