Lock on the Gower Branch of the Birmingham Canal, which links the Old and
New Main Lines. Completed 1835. Brick chamber with sandstone kerbs and
cast iron sluice gear. Single gates. (Broadbridge, S R: The Birmingham
Canal Navigations, 1974, Vol 1, p 106).
