Footbridge over the Old Main Line (Wolverhampton Level) of the Birmingham Canal
at its junction with Telford's New Main Line. 1829. Cast-iron with brick abut-
ments having some sandstone dressings. Single elliptical arch. Each side formed
from two castings, bolted to central "keystone". Sides pierced to form pattern
of saltire crosses, with a band of quatrefoils under the handrail. Spandrel
inscribed: "HORSELEY IRON WORKS 1829".
