Bridge, rear of Chatsworth


Footbridge, formerly road bridge. Canal opened 1844. Cast iron with
abutments of brick with some sandstone dressings. Single very shallow
segmental arch. Sides, above girders, pierced to form lattice pattern
of saltire crosses.
