C17. Brick, timber frame, plastered and colourwashed. Steep pantile roof. 2 storey
with attics. T-plan with long range to east. West elevation (to street) has four
equally-spaced first floor sashes with glazing bars and architraves. C19 Shop fronts
to No 55 and R Bird & Son. Segmental headed dormer with sash. Attic casements in
North and South gables. Central cruciform chimney stack, rendered. Brick stack in
North gable. On east elevation, a small hipped outshot, in line with central stack,
with blocked window opening, and curved plastered staircase turret with lead flat-
roof and ogee-headed window with leaded glazing. East elevation pebble-dashed,
modern metal casements. Modern lean-to extension to south.
