7/16 Snarehill Hall Barn
II

Barn. c. 1700. Timber framed and weatherboarded. Brick infilling to north.
Pantiled roof. Flint built east wall and brick west wall. North entrance
has brick infill between close studded posts with rails rising full height.
Segmental timber lintel supports swept roof overhang. Later single storey
outshut to east with one door. South and west walls weatherboarded, the
south with 3 doors of C20 date. Interior east walls has roof line of church
which once occupied site. Single aisled interior with heavy braced timber
posts. Arched braces to 6 tie beams. Clasped purlins and collars to
principal rafters. Now divided by timber partition to east and stone to
west.
