6/52 Larlingford Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Late C17 and late C18. Timber framed and clay lump to rear, brick
facade and pantiled roof. Reconstructed front range of 2 storeys. 3 bays
on raised plinth. Central door with square lights above. Painted gauged
brick heads to door and windows. Large sash windows with glazing bars flank
door, 2 large and one small sash windows to first floor, also with glazing
bars. Parapet gables with kneelers. Central stack. Timber framed rear
extension is original house. Flint and brick base. Door right of centre.
3 ground floor casements c. 1970. Single small casement on first floor above
door. Dormer to left with sloping roof. Ridge stack above door. East gable
with 2 1970's casements in original openings and coped hood mould at roof
line. Simple bargeboards.
