TG 02 SE GREAT WHITCHINGHAM BLACKWATER LANE

3/20 Blackwater Cottage.

II

Cottage, late C17. Colourwashed brick, partly rendered. Steeply-pitched
reed-thatched roof. One storey and attic. Parapetted west gable. Chimney stack
off-centre with twin diagonally-set shafts (rebuilt). Two sash windows with
glazinf bars. Segmental-headed entrance door opposite Stack. Two casement
windows with leaded glazing in west gable. Added raking brick buttress to gable.
