4/94 The White House.


House, mid C18, of stucco and white painted brick with slate roof. Square,
3 bay hipped pile, with hipped roof pile to the north west and linked gable
range to the south west. North east elevation to the road, 3 bays. South
east elevation 3 bays, with one window to the left. String course at sill
level, with projecting panels below the windows. Pilasters supporting consoles
and cornice, around sash windows with glazing bars. First floor windows have
moulded architraves. Moulded timber eaves and gault brick chimney stacks
with moulded brick caps. Flat roofed extension to north east containing 6
panel door, northern range with parapet gables, and scattered fenestration
of sashes and casements, and north western pile, not of special interest.
