TG 12 SW REEPHAM REEPHAM MOOR

4/98 Moor Lodge

GV II

House, C18, of red brick and rendered brick with pantile roof. 2 storeys, with
triple pile at rear. 3 window facade with central 4 panel part glazed door with
cast iron 'Gothick' porch. Sash windows with glazing bars and moulded timber
architrave. Brick dentil eaves course with brick parapet above. Parapet gables
with end stacks, The east gable, with evidence of 3 separate builds, one with
brick tumbling-in, and plinth and string course. To the west, entrance door with
timber porch on ornamental cast iron brackets. Scattered casement Widows at the
rear. Single storey kitchen wing and conservatory to the east. Good cast iron fire
places, window shutters, ogee stops to chamfered principal ceiling beams. A black-
smith was in residence in 1809.
