Farmhouse, possibly timber framed, with C16 southern gable, late C17, brickwork on
north, east and west, and walls raised, and roof replaced in C18. 3 bays opposed
entry type, 2 storeys and attics. Southern gable with C20 mullioned window in original
opening. C19 casement with segmental arch at first floor. Parapet gable with low
moulded brick kneelers. West elevation blocked off centre doorway with late C17
mullioned window. Scattered C19 casements elsewhere. Northern parapet gable with
earlier roof line delineated by brick tumbling in. C20 rooflights to west. Off
centre axial stack. Open fire places with timber bressumer to kitchen and parlour.
C16 stopped and chamfered transverse and axial beams. Butt purlin roof.
