TG 02 SE REEPHAM WHITWELL

3/117 Valley Farm Barn.
(10 metres to east of
Farm House)

GV II

Barn, C18, with red brick and pantile roof of 5 bays and southern lean-to
addition forming stables. North elevation, with central..opening for barn
doors, and 4 pointed head, honeycomb brick air vents. Central opening on
southern side with oak lintel and segment brick relieving arch. The south
elevation contains openings for windows and stable doors with segmental brick
arches. Parapet gables with ventilation openings, brick tumbling in, and
owl hole at the peak. Central tie beams braced on to wall posts, staggered
butt purlins, straight wind braces and C20 rafters.
