House. Mid C17, refronted mid C18. Brick with black pantiled roof. 2 storeys
and attic. 5 bays (originally 9). Central 3 bays broken forward under
pediment gabled back to roof slope. Late C19 square porch and narrow renewed
sashes with horns left and right. All facade windows are sashes with glazing
bars under gauged skewback arches. Dentiled modillions to eaves cornice
rising over pediment. Gabled roof with 2 pedimented dormers with sashes.
Parapets to gable heads on kneelers. Renewed C17 star-topped stacks to north
and south. C19 stack left of centre. North gable wall of flint. Blocked
pedimented window to ground floor with C20 casement. 2 smaller C20 casements
to first floor under Cl7 pediments below central panel with pargetting and
initials T.S. (Thomas Scott). Dutch gable above.
