Barn. Late C16. Timber framed with wattle and daub infill on brick and flint
plinth. Weatherboarded exterior and corrugated iron gabled roof. One storey.
Full height timber double doors of 1982. Gabled wagon entrance to rear added
in late C17. South gable wall with drip shelves at eaves line and at middle
rail. Interior walls of chamfered principal studs and plain secondaries.
Middle rail tenoned and pegged. Double arched braces to chamfered tie beams.
Wall plate. Chamfered principals with 2 tiers tenoned butt purlins. Secondary
rafters tenoned into lower purlins, passing upper ones. Arched wind bracing.
Collars.
