5/34 Portwood Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17 with C19 cross wing. Timber framed with wattle and daub
infil on brick plinth. Brick wing. Pantiled gabled roofs. 2 storeys with
privy tower through both. 3 casements to each floor. Bell-based gabled roof.
Central ridge stack. Sitting room with wall posts and chamfered beam with
diamond stud and elongated tongue stops. Blocked winder staircase by stack.
Upper corridor and bedrooms retain framing.
