TL 99 SW HOCKHAM VICARAGE ROAD

House. Late C16 and later. Timber framed on brick plinth with rendered clay
infill. Pantiled roof. Through passage plan, possibly originally an open hall.
2 storeys. Central door. 3-light transomed casement to left of late C17.
Small casement to right and 2 leaded casements under eaves that to left re-
glazed. Gabled roof and internal gable stack. C18 gabled extensions to east
and west. Rear has 3 casements each floor of late C17 or early C18. Interior
with complete timber frame. Fireplace reduced in late C17 and cupboards
inserted at sides which retain butterfly hinges to doors. Staircase by stack.
