House. Early C18 of brick with slate roof. 2 storeys and attic in 5 bays.
Central square porch of late C18 : pair of modified Tuscan columns flank pair
of similar engaged columns, the latter with fluting and reeding. Glazed door
and side lights below 7 vaned segmental fanlight. Heavy cornice. 4 ground
floor and 5 first floor sashes of mid C19 with glazing bars and timber canopy
hoods. Gauged skewback arches. Deep timber cornice forming parapet. Hipped
roof with 3 dormers, in centre circular, others pedimented. Asymmetrically
placed stacks. South front similar. Late C19 1½ storey extension to west.
