TM 09 SE OLD BUCKENHAM SANDY LANE

4/119 Warren House

G.V. II

House. 1768. Brick with black glazed pantile roof. 2 storeys in 7 bays.
Symmetrical design with central door and 3-light casements to each floor, some
C18, some excellent early C20 copies. Flat brick string course and moulded
gault brick eaves course with dentils. Bell-based gable roof with ridge stack
right of centre and subsidiary north internal gable stack. Both gables with
parapets on kneelers, the south gable with tumbling and tie ends in form of letters
and numerals: R.B. (Robert Brown) 1768. South-east gabled cross wing c.1900.
2 storeys with copies of facade windows and tumbling in gable head. Later south-
west one storeyed gabled cross wing.
