House. Circa late C16 or early C17, extended in C19 and restored in late C20.
Rendered timber frame on brick plinth. Clay pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick axial stacks. 2 room plan, left hand room heated from central axial stack, the right hand room possibly originally unheated. Outshut built at rear probably in C19. 1 storey and attic. Symmetrical 2 window south front. To left and right a C20 glazed door two light casement. C20 3-light casement in raking attic dormers. At rear the main roof is carried down as catslide over rear outshut which has C20 casements and C20 glazed door.
Interior: Much of the original carpentry is exposed including wall posts with moulded bracket heads supporting chamfered cross beam with hollow step stops. Left hand room has brick fireplace with low slightly cambered unchamfered timber lintel. Exposed wall framing with tension braces. In attics wall framing wall-plates and large common rafters are exposed but the apex of the roof is ceiled.
