6/3 The Mill House

Former miller's house. Dated 1798 on gable datestone with initial E.
Facade refashioned in c.1840. Brick with pantiled roof. Lobby entrance
type plan. 2 storeys and 3 bays. 4 sash windows with glazing bars in
slightly narrower and taller openings than original. Stuccoed skewback
arches to ground floor windows. Central panelled front door and C19 porch
with arched entrance and crenellated parapet. Central axial stack and
later colour-washed lean-to to rear. Stair beside stack and original
panelled doors with L hinges.
