Farmhouse. Early C19. Gault brick with slate roofs. T plan. 2 storeys.
Cross wing facade of 3 bays of sash windows with glazing bars beneath rect-
angular hood moulds. Advanced and gabled centre bay. Angles with pairs
of shallow pilasters forming pointed arches by joining together at eaves
level. Gable-ends of cross wing similar to centre bay. Dentil cornices
(to gables also) and plain platband. Casement windows with glazing bars
beneath rectangular hood moulds to service wing. Front door to north with
Gothic panelling. Stack to rear of main block and to gable-end of service
wing. Sweeping staircase with square-sectioned balusters and shaped tread
ends.
