Farmhouse. C16 and later. Galletted flint with brick and some stone dress-
ings. Black and red pantile roofs. 2 storeys with attic. Off-centre 2-
storey gabled porch with a 4-centred stone dressed archway. This has wave
mouldings, facetted bases and spandrels with small carved head label stops.
C19 3-light mullion and transom window above with an original moulded brick
pediment. Several keyed brick window jambs to blocked or reduced long
windows in front and rear facades. Irregular fenestration with one sash,
3 3-light mullion and transom casements and a modern rectangular brick bay
to front facade. Rear with 3 3-light mullion and transom casements, and
one C19 tripartite sash window and various later extensions. West gable-
end with the rare survival of a garderobe outshut. Gable-end stacks and
2 axial stacks. Roll-moulded beams in hall. Winding stair beside eastern
stack. Several original doors. Modern roof.
