The Thatched House

Cottage; former lobby entrance type farmhouse. Mid C17. Rendered timber
frame with thatched roof. One storey with attic. C19 or C20 casements with
glazing bars and one dormer to front and one to rear. Entrance with modern
porch opposite off-centre axial stack. Later gable-end stack. Lean-to side
addition. Ogee and nicked chamfer stops to 2 spinal and one transverse
bridging joists and to fire-place bressumer. One surviving queen post truss.
