Dwelling and former shop. C16 and later. Rendered timber frame on brick plinth.
Flint and brick single storeyed lean-to extension to east gable end. Pantile roofs.
Open hall with C17 inserted floor and stack to form lobby entrance type plan.
Later one bay extension to east with a further single-storeyed lean-to extension.
One and a half storeys. Street facade. 2 C18 3-light mullion and transom windows
with single metal casements. One 2-light casement with glazing bars. C19 panelled
door opposite off-centre axial stack. Shop front with boarded stable door and a
late C19 sash window with pairs of vertical glazing bars. 2 4-panel 2-light
casement dormers, one to each side of stack. Rear facade with 2 boarded doors,
one C18 2-light mullion and transom window with metal casement, one C19 single
light casement and one late C20 window. Interior: some parts of timber frame
apparent revealing jowled wall posts and tension bracing to corners. Later roof.
Some C17 boarded doors with strap hinges. One fine C18 fixed corner cupboard
with raised and fielded panelled doors and shaped shelving.
