Barn. Circa late C17. Plastered timber-frame on brick plinth.
Thatched roof with gable ends; pantile roof outshut and adjoining
stable. Plan: 3-bay barn with opposing cart entrances at front
and back of centre bay; circa late C19 outshut on left (SW) end
and Cl9 stable on front of right end. Exterior: Full-height cart
entrance at centre with plank double doors, weatherboarded on
left and plastered on right with single storey stable range
projecting at right angles. Lean-to outshut on left (SW) end with
weatherboarded walls. Plastered rear (NW) with cart entrance at
centre with plank double doors, weatherboarded above. Interior:
Frame complete. Tall close-studding without mid rail, long
straight tension braces; wall and sole plate intact. Curved
braces to tie-beams. Tenoned collars and staggered tenoned
purlins to principal rafters. Common rafters intact, straight
wind-braces; ridgeboard.
